Greenville Recreation & Parks Department is recruiting youth basketball referees, coaches and scorekeepers for the 09-10 winter youth basketball program. Applicants must possess a good knowledge of basketball rules and/or have knowledge in officiating basketball games. Applicants must be able to officiate or score keep league games for ages 5-18. Games are played on various days (Monday-Saturday) and hours are flexible according to class schedule. This program will run from November 30 to early March. Scorekeepers will be paid $7.75/hour and officials will be paid $12/game. Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is recruiting for a gymnastics instructor. The position performs professional and supervisory responsibilities related to the development, coordination, and implementation of various gymnastic skills for the Greenville Recreation and Parks Department. The instructor will maintain complete attendance records Assumes on-site responsibilities for the operation of the program, handles parental concerns and complaints. Primary purpose for the beginning Gymnastics programs will be to provide safe and fun recreational activities for children ages 3&4 and 5&7. Must have experience working with children and have experience teaching/leading gymnastics. Rate of pay is between $7.75-$8.25, depending up prior experience.
