WZMB-FM 91.3, ECU's student-run radio station, is one of a few stations from across the country selected to cybercast live from Austin, Texas, on Thursday.

Student staff members Michael Harrington and Matthew Grady will be in Austin to participate in the 88th Annual College Media Convention. They will cybercast Thursday from 1-3 p.m. The cybercast can be heard at www.live365.com/stations/cbi?site=pro.

Other participating schools include stations from the University of Idaho, Texas State University, Cabrini College, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Loyola University of Baltimore.

The spring College Media Convention is the nation's largest gathering of college student media students and advisers.

ECU will be represented by student staffers from Rebel, Expressions, WZMB-FM and the Buccaneer yearbook, who will be among 2,500 students and advisers attending the convention's 400 break-out sessions, three keynote speakers and other media-related educational offerings. College Media Advisers, Inc., Associated Collegiate Press and College Broadcasters, Inc., produce the convention annually.
