This is a great service being provided by the university for all students, not just music students. Maybe, features should be written periodically by someone on staff or an expert who is wellrounded in this area to encourage and even challenge students to learn more. Music is more than just sounds and words. The history lessons and emotions are being lost. This would not only further the students well rounded education but would better justify the need to spend more resources to further support the arts vs. the football stadium or fancy dorm with latte in the lobby.

How many of your readers have ever heard of Weather Report and the changes thise one group made to our lives. One of their band members passed this week and there was a good article in the N&O about the band. This paper needs to share these important moments in time with readers and ECU students.
