Please keep in mind that we receive way too many rants for us to print them all. All rants sent in become the exclusive property of The East Carolinian, we are free to publish, not publish, or modify any rant.
The East Carolinian does not endorse the statements made in Pirate Rants, and reserves the right to edit or remove content from Rants prior to publication.
Pirate Rants are screened during their selection process and must fulfill some basic requirements. In order to be published, Pirate Rants must not:
-Contain illegal or defamatory statements
-Threaten any one person or organization
-Be sent in by any Student Media professional or student staff
