Former ECU Pitcher Josh Grosz whip's a pitch to his opponent

Last season, Grosz was a solid pitcher who started a team-high 16 games. He was 4-2 with a 3.66 Earned Run Average (ERA) and 79 strikeouts in 76.1 frames. Opponents batted .215 against the right-handed pitcher.

Bradt

Bradt's time at ECU was brief, but it was an example of Godwin's ability to strike on a transfer portal arm.

Bradt, who transferred from Virginia Military Institute (VMI) prior to the 2023 season, participated in 18 games out of the bullpen, striking out 23 batters in 16.2 innings of work.

The fast-throwing righty pitched two perfect innings against North Carolina, assisting the Pirates to a 6-5 victory in Chapel Hill. Bradt also made one save in ECU's season-opener, which was a 9-5 win over George Washington University.

Bradt began his collegiate career in the rotation at VMI, where he struck out 104 batters in 111.2 innings and was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team.

Moylan

Moylan will forgo his final year of school after a three-year tenure with the Pirates. Moylan was the team's primary explosive threat in the middle part of the lineup last season, hitting 5 home runs in what would be his highest performing season at ECU.

He had an exceptional hitting average of .302 along with 70 RBIs and 20 doubles while playing holding down first base with his defense.
