DJ Cannon:

James Madison ML vs. Wisconsin (+175)

Wisconsin has been very inconsistent over the last month and a half because since February 1st they are 3-8 not including the conference tournament where they won 3 straight including beating Purdue and then losing to Illinois in the Big 10 championship. JMU started the season hot and ended the season hot as they beat Michigan State in the first game of the year and have won their last 13 games to be 31-3 going into this game. Expect Terrance Edwards Jr to have a big game in this one and for James Madison to get the upset win.

DJ Jarrett:

Texas Tech –5.5 vs NC State

Is there anything better than college basketball in March? Probably, but either way the time has finally come to be the biggest degenerate on earth and bet every game every day of the NCAA Tournament. I absolutely hate to do this after their Cinderella run through the ACC Championship Tournament, but I am picking NC State to be a first-round exit.

It was fun to see the Wolfpack battle back after another disappointing season. Kevin Keatts saved his job, the country fell in love with big man DJ Burns, and both Duke and UNC got embarrassed by their in-state rival, but all that makes me feel like the Wolfpack peaked early. The fact is that NC State is not that good of a team, they rank 47th in offensive efficiency and 89th defensively. The good news for the Wolfpack is that Texas Tech struggles defensively, so both DJ Horne and DJ Burns should be able to keep the game within reach, but the offensive ability of Texas Tech is going to be tough to keep up with.

NC State must be emotionally drained after winning five in a row for the ACC crown and not getting much rest between Saturday and Thursday due to practice and traveling will take a toll, so I’m rolling with the Red Raiders –5.5.

DJ Great Dane:

Luka Doncic Under 33.5 points vs Utah Jazz.

All NBA fans know that Luka Doncic is a very high scorer, but with tight defense his game struggles. The Mavs' last game ended with the Jazz dominating 127-90 with Luka only having 19 points while Collin Sexton was guarding him. When Collin sexton doesn’t guard Luka, he scores with ease but when Sextons fast and tight defense meets Luka’s slow but great scoring capabilities. Sexton's defense gets the better of Luka and he starts to rely on his teammates and passing skills, so I do not expect a high scoring game from Luka here.

DJ Nick:

Grand Canyon +6 Spread (-125

I realize it is always difficult to bet on college basketball in March, and while anything can happen, logically I believe Grand Canyon will pull the upset against number five ranked Saint Mary’s. While I have them pulling the upset, I hesitate to take their money line bet simply because of how good both teams have been and Saint Mary’s history of success in the tournament.

Grand Canyon finished the season 29-4 and have made the tournament a few times but have yet to advance past the round of 64. Nonetheless, they are still an experienced and well-rounded team that I believe can make some noise with Tyon Grant-Foster leading the way. I think this will be a close game and if Grand Canyon can’t pull off the upset, I would expect them to keep the game close.

Future Bets

Jarrett: Denver Nuggets to win Western Conference.
