In front of about 35 scouts, coaches and personnel from the NFL, Canadian Football League (CFL) and other organizations, the East Carolina University football program will host its annual pro day today for 20 players who were seniors on the 2017 team.

The soon to be graduates will be tested both inside the Murphy Center and at the Cliff Moore Practice Facility on Hight field.

Inside the Murphy Center, players will begin with physical measurements before being tested on vertical jump, broad jump and bench press. On Hight field, players will participate in the 40-yard dash, shuttle drill and position specific drills.

Those participating include Kiante’ Anderson, Randall Anderson, Stephen Baggett, Demage Bailey, Des Barmore, Ausin Barnes, Devin Carlos, Joe Carter, Tyshon Dye, Gaelin Elmore, Davon Grayson, Anthony Gutierrez, Tre Hicks, Quay Johnson, Erik Lenzen, Chris Love, Mike Myers, Colton Oliver, Travis Phillips, Justin Sandifer, Thomas Sirk, Brandon Smith, Xavier Smith, Austin Teague, Korrin Wiggins, Jimmy Williams and Jordan Williams.

Starting with Sirk, who played 11 games at quarterback for ECU last season after transferring from Duke University, the potential talent threw for 1,655 yards and nine touchdowns while splitting time with former ECU quarterback Gardner Minshew. Sirk also moved to tight end down the stretch of the season and showed flashes of potential as a receiver and blocker.

Grayson, Johnson and Jimmy Williams are three notable receivers from ECU’s offense last season. They finished second, third and fourth in receiving yards and receptions. Grayson was also second in touchdown catches while Johnson and Williams were tied for third.

Rounding out the defensive notable players that will participate are Wiggins and Jordan Williams. Wiggins led the Pirates in tackles (96) last season, while Williams was second (89).
